    I love the cyptograms in this book! They’re from people I recognize, the grammar is correct, they’re entertaining, and challenging enough to be fun but not frustrating. The print is easy to see since it’s large and there’s enough space above the lines for room to fill in the answers.

    I was glad to find a book with just cryptograms rather than an assortment of different types of puzzles. The book is a nice size. The print is easy to read with enough room to write the solutions. The paper is of good quality not like newsprint. It will stand up to a soft eraser without leaving holes. As a bonus they also include hints on how to solve cryptograms along with a hint for each puzzle. With 500 puzzles this book will provide many hours of relaxation.

    I bought volume 2 first — it’s easier to use because it has spiral binding, and the print is larger. This one has “large” print, but smaller and more jammed together. Quotes were better in the other one.

    I enjoy the sturdy construction of the book. I don’t need a table or a desk to work the puzzles. The paper is bright but not glossy. I can use a fine point pen or a felt marker.

    The phrases are far enough apart to work easily. There are hints in the front of the book and they are very helpful. Wish it was spiral bound only dislike. The clues and answers are in the back. Just don’t peek to often.

    If you want to challenge your mind you should get this. It is hard to put down. I take it with on long road trips while my husband is driving. Once you get the hang of it it’s gets easier. I love the fact that these are all quotes from famous people.

    I go through too many cryptoquote books and have been frustrated with many of them. This one was a delight compared to many other ones. There is good spacing in the letters , NO puzzle runs into the next page (a big pet peeve), the set up for clues works well and the puzzles are fine. I just searched other puzzles from them and bought volume 2 and 3. I hope they keep bringing new books out.
